We are a trustworthy and reliable firm – providing professional services to our clients since 1971. We are committed to serving the best interests of our clients, always respecting their privacy and confidentiality and endeavouring to deliver an excellent standard of legal practice.

In 1971, John Connor combined his Wynnum practice with Peter Hunter’s Cleveland practice and Connor Hunter Solicitors was established. The founding partners have long since retired but their values persist in the Firm they have founded.

Both Mr Connor and Mr Hunter were active in the community, taking a personal interest in their clients’ needs and the needs of the community.Building on the founding partners’ ethos, Connor Hunter continues its strong ties to community.Today, we have embraced modern techniques but continue with a focus on service.

Connor Hunter became an incorporated legal practice in 2008 and now trades via the company, Connor Hunter Pty Ltd ACN 131 056 169. Mr Robert Newton is the legal practitioner/director of the company. We have offices at:

Wynnum – a bayside suburb of Brisbane, Queensland (near Manly).
Cleveland – a bayside suburb in the Redlands to the east of Brisbane, Queensland.

MS ANDREA NEWTON

Admitted as a solicitor in 1994

Andrea joined Connor Hunter in 1994 and was a partner of the firm, prior to incorporation in 2008. The areas of work Andrea undertakes include:

MR PAUL COVES – CONSULTANT SOLICITOR

Paul is a consultant solicitor specialising in litigation and mediation. He is a nationally accredited mediator and accredited family dispute resolution practitioner (FDRP). Paul has a client oriented and commercially realistic approach to dispute resolution; with the aim of resolving disputes quickly and cost-effectively.
